Ingredients: 2 parts Redemption Bourbon Whiskey; Â½ parts simple syrup; Â¾ parts lemon juice; Â½ parts Blackberry Liqueur (as a float); Fresh blackberries

The original Bramble cocktail featured Gin and was created in London in the 1980s by Dick Bradsell. The substitution of Bourbon makes sense as an American adaptation of the classic cocktail.

Ingredients

2 parts Redemption Bourbon Whiskey
½ parts simple syrup
¾ parts lemon juice
½ parts Blackberry Liqueur (as a float)
Fresh blackberries

Directions

Muddle blackberries in empty rocks glass
In a shaker with crushed ice, lightly shake Bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup
Dump all into rocks glass
Garnish with a float of blackberry liqueur, blackberries and mint
