Rum Cask Finish
To make this one-of-a-kind spirit, Master Blender, Alan Kennedy, took our trademark Redemption Rye (95% rye, 5% malted barley mashbill) and finished it in Jamaican and Barbadian rum barrels. The result is an intriguing romance between the signature spice of Redemption Rye and the complex sweetness imparted on the rum barrels. The aging process required meticulous monitoring to achieve the perfect balance of these flavors. The resulting spirit was named “Best American Rye Whiskey” at the 2021 World Whiskies Competition.

Dried stone fruit (apricot, persimmon), clover honey, baking spice (clove, caraway).
Rye spice notes of caraway, clove and white pepper complimented by tropical rum notes of sultana raisins, guava and passionfruit. The Barbadian casks give a warming richness up front, while the Jamaican casks impart an earthy, fruity finish on the back end.
Light and breathy with golden raisins dusted in a whisper of ceylon cinnamon with different lengths of finish that help balance the sweetness of the younger barrels with the soft tannin and baking spice of the longer finish.
